Remembrance

As we return to our studies this week we look ahead to another busy term. I hope, like me, you have all managed to switch off for a restful break.

With Halloween now behind us, this Friday we remember what would now be referred to as the ‘failed terrorist plot’ of 5th November 1605, the attempt to bring down the heart of democracy, the Houses of Parliament.

Remembrance Sunday follows a week later on the 14th. We will be marking this even with a silence on Thursday 11th at 11am as well as in our assemblies this week.

Eyes may also fall on developments at COP26. We continue to do what we can to reduce our impact on the Environment and have tasked an Eco-group with looking in more detail about what more we can do.

I look forward to many exciting conversations around these topics in the coming weeks.
