Year 12 visit the Houses of Parliament

The Year 12 Russell Group of students from Logic were presented with the remarkable of opportunity of taking part in a visit to the heart of British democracy, the Houses of Parliament.  Taken through the House of Lords by Roger (our extremely knowledgeable guide!) the students were able to see with their own eyes how British government has evolved over time and ask some extremely pertinent questions regarding the history of British politics.  A trip that teased out their ability to ask and answer the higher order thinking skills that will be so valued by the top Universities in this country.
