Another year of success at GCSE

We are delighted with our second ever set of results which will again put us up with the highest performing 14-19 schools in the country and builds on our Ofsted report.

An excellent performance in Maths and English has meant that our students have achieved very good results in their core subjects, which provides a secure foundation for their continuing education. Our performance in our specialist areas of Business, Computing and Creative Media were very impressive and it’s great to see that when students follow a specialist industry based pathway they can achieve.

We are confident that these results will give us a positive progress measure (depending on national results) and this, achieved in 5 terms, should not be underestimated. The staff have worked tirelessly, particularly in building relationships to achieve this.

Individual performances of note were Josh Marshall who achieved a 9, 3 x 8s, 4 x 7s whilst Alex Pantus achieved 4 x 8s and 4 x 7s. The majority of our Year 11 students are returning to us in the 6th form and we can’t wait to continue working with them. This is a testament to our staff, our students and the ‘Logic atmosphere’. We are incredibly proud of the achievements of all our students and their teachers.
