Logic Studio School
The Principal’s Message
Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. It has been fantastic to see our students return with such energy and purpose this week. There is a real sense of focus across the building as we “crack on” with the final term of the academic year. The Summer term is always a poignant time in a school; it represents the culmination of years of hard work, particularly for our Year 11 and Year 13 cohorts.
Walking through the corridors this week, I have been immensely proud of how our students have settled back into their routines. Our staff have been working tirelessly to ensure everyone feels supported, prepared, and—most importantly—confident as we approach the formal examination period. We often talk about our students being “Future Ready,” and seeing their determination this week makes it clear that they are taking that mission to heart.
We are entering a demanding few months, but I want to reassure you that we are in this together. Whether it is through our dedicated coaching sessions or the extra revision support in classrooms, our community is here to ensure every young person at Logic has the platform they need to succeed.
Community News & Student Shoutouts
VIP Visitors at Logic It has been a busy first week back for our “Looking Outward” ethos! We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Hounslow and the Local MP for Feltham and Bedfont to Logic this week. Both visitors were incredibly impressed by our students’ professionalism and the specialist work taking place in our Business and Computing hubs. Seeing our students articulate their ambitions to local leaders is a testament to the confidence they develop here.
Logic on Film You may have spotted some familiar faces on our social media channels recently! We have been filming several new videos to showcase what makes Logic such a unique place to learn. From student interviews to clips of our specialist equipment in action, these videos perfectly capture the “Logic Way.” If you haven’t seen them yet, do head over to our Instagram or website to take a look—I am sure you will be as proud of our students as I am.
Operational Updates
Year 11 & Year 13: The Exam Season The formal exam season is now fast approaching. All students in Year 11 and 13 should now have their final timetables.
- Preparation: Please ensure students are maintaining a healthy balance of study and rest.
- Expectations: We continue to hold the highest expectations regarding punctuality. Being “on time” is a professional habit that is especially critical during exam season to ensure a calm start for all candidates.
- Support: If your child is feeling particularly anxious, please encourage them to speak with their Coach. We are here to support their well-being just as much as their academic progress.
Year 12 Work Experience: Can You Help? A core part of our “Taking Action” pillar is ensuring our Year 12 students gain real-world industry experience. We are currently looking for 3-day work experience placements for this summer.
- The Ask: If you work for, or run, a business that could host a student for just three days, we would love to hear from you.
- The Impact: These placements are often the spark that helps a student decide on their future career path. Whether you are in tech, finance, creative media, or any other sector, your support as part of our school partnership is invaluable. Please contact our Careers Lead if you can assist.
Attendance & High Expectations As we start the new term, a quick reminder that high attendance is the single biggest factor in exam success. Every lesson counts. We also ask for your continued support with our uniform and lanyard policy; these are essential not just for professional standards, but for the safeguarding of our entire community.
