Logic Studio School

Making a difference
8th May 2026

It has been an incredibly purposeful week here at Logic, and as I reflect on the buzz around the building, I am struck by the sheer dedication our students are showing toward their futures. Whether it is the early morning arrivals or the late afternoon revision sessions, the “Taking Action” element of our school ethos is on full display.

We were also delighted to welcome Trust Directors Charlotte Warner and Jeremy Hannay for a visit last week. They spent a significant amount of time speaking with our students, and I was immensely proud to receive their feedback. Both Charlotte and Jeremy commented on what exemplary ambassadors our students are for the school. Most heartening of all was hearing our students articulate how different their experience is here compared to previous schools; they spoke with genuine warmth about the unrivaled support they receive from our fantastic staff.

  • Year 10 Dedication: A huge “well done” to our Year 10s. Following our Work Experience meeting last week, we saw a tremendous turnout at 7:00 AM the next morning with students rushing to secure their preferred placements! That level of drive is exactly what makes our community special.
  • Ambassadorial Excellence: A special mention to the students who spoke with our Trust visitors. Your ability to reflect on your learning journey and the support you receive makes you a credit to yourselves and the school.
  • Year 13 Milestones: As our Year 13s balance the final push for coursework and exam prep, it is wonderful to see them also looking forward to their End of Term celebrations. It is a well-deserved light at the end of the tunnel!

Operational Updates

Mock Exams & GCSE Season

The exam season has officially arrived. Our Year 12 students have been incredibly busy this week tackling their Creative Media, Business, and IT exams. Meanwhile, our Year 11 and Year 13 students are in the final stages of preparation.

  • Year 11 GCSEs: Official exams start in earnest next week. Students have shown a “cracking” amount of focus during interventions this week.
  • Year 10 Exams: Taking a leaf out of the older students’ books, Year 10s are already requesting past papers to ensure they are academically prepared for their end-of-year assessments.

Work Experience (Year 10)

Following the launch of the Year 10 Work Experience, please ensure all remaining forms are returned as soon as possible. Placements are being organized on a first-come, first-served basis, and we want to ensure every student secures a role that aligns with their career aspirations.

Year 13 Prom & Celebrations

A reminder to all Year 13 parents and students: please ensure that Prom returns and payments are submitted promptly. We want to ensure that every student can celebrate their hard work and the end of their Logic journey in style!

Expectations & Safeguarding

As the pressure of exam season builds, we maintain our high expectations for punctuality and uniform. These routines provide the stable, professional environment our students need to perform at their best. Please ensure your child arrives fully equipped and ready to focus each morning.
