A New Year – Logic welcomes new and returning students

After the successful results and goodbye to many of our Year 11 and Year 13 students in the Summer, the start of term has seen us welcome our new cohort to Logic.

Our continued exam success, outstanding destinations and our positive OFSTED report continue to attract new students to Logic, with an increasing amount joining to study our specialist subjects of Business, Creative Media and Computing.
In Year 10, we welcomed 50 students and in Year 12, over 100 students have enrolled into our 6th Form.
The first week has been about lots of settling in and induction activities, giving our new students a chance to get to know each other, our staff and learn about the Logic way! Students took part in a speed networking event, ice breakers and a range of form and lesson activities to get them familiar with Logic and the plans for their next two years. Year 12 were also introduced to the Logic Employer Engagement Pathway, which sees them specialise in an industry area every Wednesday.
Over the next few weeks, we have further activities and events planned across the school for all year groups. This includes a ‘Meet your FT’ evening for Y10, Y11 and Y12;  a London Scramble for Year 12; a motivational talk with leadership expert Manley Hopkinson; and an NCOP Aim Higher day for Year 11. We finish the term with our 1st PBL week of the year, with a busy 3 days planned for all students!
