This week, we officially launched our Year 10 Work Experience Programme with all our Year 10 students.

Work Experience is a key element of our Careers Programme at Logic Studio School. It provides students with a valuable opportunity to explore the world of work, develop essential employability skills, meet new people, and begin identifying potential career paths for the future.

To begin the process, students took part in a Self-Awareness Workshop. As part of this session, they completed the Buzz Quiz — a personality quiz designed to help them recognise their individual strengths, qualities, and working styles.

The next step involves linking these personality traits to possible career pathways and job roles, helping students make informed choices as they search for suitable work experience placements.

We encourage all students to take the lead in finding their own placements, with guidance and support from our team. In addition, we continue to work closely with Youth Careers Collective to source a range of local opportunities, which are made available to students who may not be able to secure their own placement.

At this stage, we kindly ask parents and carers to support students in identifying and confirming their work experience placement. Students will have brought home a form this week — please check with them and return it as soon as possible.
