Employer Engagement 2025-26

We are always looking for ways to work with local organisations for the benefit of our students (and your business). Our programme for 2025-26 is now formalised and we are looking for involvement from our partners.

Our Logic Futures Programme provides opportunities for employers, apprenticeships providers and universities to attend Logic to meet our students at a variety of events. Alternatively, there are further options for students to come to events hosted by you!

We can accommodate a wide range of organisations, from those with 1-2 people to multinationals with 1000s! This is a great way for you to raise the profile of your company; identify locally sourced, talented individuals; and also provide opportunities for your own staff development.

Please feel free to share the information with colleagues, friends, etc.

If you would like to ‘sign up’ for anything, drop us an email and I will add you to our events. Please also feel free to get in touch with me to discuss any questions or queries in more detail.

Our first three events of the year

Wednesday 17th September – 9am – 11am

For the Speed Networking, we normally have a range of employers, former students and university ambassadors in for the morning.

We then have students in small groups of about 4-5 and they have the opportunity to spend about 5 minutes listening to each person talk about their career, the business they work for, pathways, etc. We then move them onto the next group.

The idea is students get to hear from lots of different people in different sectors; and the guests get to talk to students about themselves and their career.

Wednesday October 1st – 11am to 4pm

The Careers Fair gives the opportunity for all of our students to learn about different career opportunities and speak to university ambassadors, business people, apprentices, etc. There will be a chance to meet students across Years 10-13, approx 300 in total plus students who will be invited from other local schools. This takes place in our Cyber Cafe and companies normally set up stands, bring some information, etc and meet with students.

Wednesday October 8th – 9am to 11am

For the Mock Interviews, students are interviewed in preparation for an ‘actual’ interview’ they have the following week. We provide questions and feedback forms to be used. The aim is to give students practice and feedback but is often used by companies to train their staff to interview as well. Interviews are normally about 5-10 minutes long, with a further 5 minute feedback session for the students.
