The Labour Party conference with week spoke of the need for us to all stop ‘doom scrolling’ and to ‘hope again’. When you have a strategic plan and a long term vision, ‘hope’ is not necessary. We work tirelessly at Logic to deliver education and experiences that change the lives of our young people. No hope necessary, only direct action.

Staff continue to work to understand the needs of our new students and support all within our community to achieve their best. I am grateful to all of our staff for the lengths they go to in achieving this.

As we look ahead, next week we hold our careers fair for all students at the school. This is a great opportunity for our students to find out more about what their future could hold.

Included in this update there is also a plea for parent governors. We currently have two vacancies for parent governors on our Academy Committee. We are thankful to all of our governors for their advice, challenge and support in ensuring the school continues to move forward. If you are curious about the role or would like to speak to either myself or a current governor to find out more then please reach out to us.

Finally, just a note to mention that our term dates for 2027/28 have now been published on our website.
