Thank you so much for your continued support over the first half term of this year. As a school, we are really pleased with the way the year has started and that our high expectations are being met across the school. It is vital that basics, such as strong attendance, are not allowed to slip at any point in the year. Every moment matters in school. In order to support *|MMERGE5|* to achieve they must be here consistently, on time and ready to learn.

Records show that well over half of our parents should have received phone calls from our staff at this point. I apologies if you have not yet been contacted and promise that this continues to be a big focus for us as a school. We are looking forward to welcoming all parents to the school next half term at our ‘Meet the Form Tutor’ event. No matter you child’s age, these parent meetings are an important point for us to share progress and strategies with you to support *|MMERGE5|* to achieve.

A reminder that this half term break is just over a week in duration and that we expect to see students back here on Wednesday 5th November. For those students resitting the English GCSE, you will need to be in school on Tuesday 4th November for your external exam.
