Logic Studio School
There are lots of reasons for me to be issuing thanks at this time. Firstly to parents that were able to support our Year 11 Subject Teacher evening last night. This was a valuable opportunity to understand the progress that our students are making across Year 11 in preparation for summer exams. It also gave us an opportunity to talk to parents about our ‘Steps to Success’ that will be running from now until exams.
I would also extend my thanks to our fantastic staff who have worked so professionally to ensure that the environment at Logic remains calm and productive through turbulent times. Students are incredibly well supported with absolute sensitivity allowing them to feel secure in our school.
Most importantly for me though I wanted to say a special thank you to parents that got in touch following my email of last week to offer their personal support. I was truly touched by the understanding and support that you showed for the school and cannot thank you enough for choosing to share this.
Last week I chaired a meeting of all head teachers across Hounslow schools. Having written to the Met Police Commissioner and had a weak response, we once again shared our collective concerns about policing across Hounslow. Present to hear these concerns were local MP Ruth Cadbury and local councillor Samia Chaudhry. Next week I will be chairing the meeting of Feltham Town Partnership, (a collective of business, council workers, charities and friends groups) to which local MP Seema Malhotra will be attending. Top on our agenda once again is the safety of our young people in the local community. It is frustrating when the canaries are singing but the miners take no notice, but this will not weaken my resolve.
There is a lot to catch up on this week so please make sure you read through the information below carefully.
As ever, thank you for your continued support.
