Students and staff at Logic Studio School are celebrating a strong set of Key Stage 4 GCSE results. The headline achievements are led by exceptional gains in Mathematics and standout results in Creative Media, alongside significant individual progress made across the Year 11 cohort.

In Mathematics, student performance demonstrated impressive progression from mock examinations, with final results coming directly in line with the top 20% of schools nationally. In total, 54.8% of students secured a Grade 4 or higher in Maths, while 31% achieved a Grade 5 or above.

Alongside success in core numerical skills, students achieved outstanding results in Creative Media, underscoring Logic Studio School’s core commitment to practical, industry-focused qualifications. English performance also made substantial progress from mock baselines, finishing in line with the top 50% of schools nationally, with 40% of students achieving Grade 4+ and 26.2% earning Grade 5+.

Across the final cohort of 42 Year 11 students, 36% achieved a Grade 4 or higher in both English and Maths, with 21% reaching Grade 5 or above in both core subjects.

Recognising Outstanding Attainment and Value-Added Progress

The results celebrate high academic attainment while highlighting the remarkable progress made by students from their initial targets:

  • National Benchmark in Maths: Mathematics progression climbed from early assessments to place the school in line with the top 20% of schools nationally.
  • Creative Media Excellence: Students in Creative Media delivered top-tier practical assessments and exam results, exceeding baseline expectations.
  • Significant Individual Progress: Across tracking benchmarks—including FFT50 (top 50% nationally) and ambitious FFT20 targets—key individual students closed attainment gaps significantly between mock exams and final results.

Individual Performance

We are delighted to celebrate a number of really strong individual performances. Anthony achieved Grade 9 in Maths, Grade 8 in Computer Science & Literature, and Grade 7 in English Language. Arlo secured Grade 8 in Business Studies & English Language, plus Grade 7s in Maths & Computer Science. Krishnavi earned Grade 7s across Maths, English Language, and English Literature.

Progress from mock exams should also be celebrated with Omer gaining almost 2 grades on average across the board. Rishta also saw a considerable increase by almost 1.5 grades.

Leadership Commentary

“We are tremendously proud of our Year 11 students for their dedication and hard work,” said the Principal, Alex Pett. “Seeing our Mathematics results perform in line with the top 20% of schools nationally is really pleasing. Coupled with the excellent results in Creative Media and the inspiring progress made across all subjects, these outcomes set a strong foundation for our students’ future in both technical and academic pathways.”
