It’s Movember
14th November 2025

There has been a lot going on in the world of education recently with the release of Government White Papers on Post-16 Education and Skill and Curriculum and Assessment. It is pleasing to see that there now seems to be a push in a direction we have been travelling in for years already.

Emphasis is being placed on work readiness to tackle the increasing numbers of students classes as NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). I am pleased to inform our parents that our destination measures remain very strong with not students in our 2024-25 cohort classes as NEET.

The Curriculum and Assessment review (not due to take effect until 2029 at the earliest) has finally recognised the unnecessary length and number of exams taken by students at the age of 16 and there is a pledge to reduce this, which is welcome. It also points to the need to be teaching children about identifying ‘Fake News’ and empowering them to make use of AI. These are two areas that have been a focus at Logic for a number of years now.

Yesterday we welcomed all parents to our Meet the Form Tutor event. This was incredibly well attended and we thank you for your support. These touch points are a valuable way for us to share your child’s progress and discuss other key information with you. I am delighted to share the following from our parent survey.

“My child has had a lot of challenges and barriers accessing mainstream, Logic has gone above and beyond to ensure he is in a safe and happy atmosphere that is conducive to his future and we are very grateful for everything the school and staff have done to make this a reality.”

Feedback like this means everything to us, thank you.
