It has been an absolute joy to walk around our school for the past two weeks looking carefully at how our staff are implementing our high expectations. This has been made even more enjoyable by the consistent hard work we are seeing from all of our students.

I have been most impressed by the attitude that our new Year 12 cohort have shown in terms of quickly understanding what is required from the to achieve and already looking for opportunities to extend their learning. Students have been diligently preparing for our assessment week next week and showing just the Logic Attitude we expect.

The school year may have only just begun, but we are already looking forward to next September as our admissions process opens up again for prospective Year 10 and Year 12 students. I was at Springwest and Thomas Knyvett last week and will be heading out to a range of other schools before our Open Day on 27th November. As ever, this is an important evening for students in Year 11 and their parents to find out more about what is on offer Post-16. We kindly ask all parents to share details of our Open Evening with your personal networks.

Finally from me this week, we have been thinking about how best we mark the 10th Anniversary of the school this year. We would like this celebration event to involve current students and parents as well as our Alumni community. We will keep you updated with details as they are finalised.
