Meet your Form Tutor Evening – October 7th 2020
Firstly, I want to thank you for the positive way in which students have returned to Logic this year. After a difficult few months, it has been great to see students back in lessons and learning.
This year, we will be holding a slightly different format for our initial parents’ evening of the year. Our Meet your Form Tutor evening this year will take place on Wednesday October 7th 2020, with appointments running between 3.30pm and 7pm. As a result, school will finish at 3.10pm on this day for all students to allow the evening to run.
Due to the current situation, we will be undertaking these appointments ‘virtually’, although we will also provide opportunities for parents to attend in person if they wish to do so. For those choosing ‘in person’ meetings, we will ensure that social distancing measures are in place for staff, parents and students.
There will be 3 options available for parents which are indicated below:
- Phone call to parent/carer at a set time;
- Video call to parent using your child’s Google Meet account at a set time;
- ‘In person’ meeting with your student’s Form Tutor in the school at a set time.
Please complete the form below which indicates the option you would prefer, including the time you would like to meet. If you are unable to meet or communicate at this time, please let us know using the form overleaf.
For Year 13, we are also able to provide more focussed transition meetings with the 6th form team to discuss any issues or questions you have, specifically focusing on transition for next academic year to apprenticeships, employment or university. Please indicate if you require this option on the form overleaf.
This will be an excellent opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and more importantly look at how they have returned to school after such a long absence. We really value these opportunities to talk with you as we know that working together makes a huge difference in supporting student progress.
