Year 11 GCSE Results Day

Dear Student,
RE: GCSE Results
I understand how unsettling the past months have been for you, since the exams
were cancelled. Our overriding aim in submitting your grades, has been to be fair to
all of our students. We do not want you to be disadvantaged and want to ensure you
can progress onto Logic Sixth Form or an alternative post-16 provision as planned.
The GCSE Results day remains on the same date, which is Thursday 20th August
and you can pick up your results from Logic. There will be 4 collection points set up
at the school and we hope to be outside Weather permitting).
We have staggered the pick-up times in order to stop overcrowding and will be
asked to come in to collect your results according to your surname (last name):
 A – L, please arrive between 9.00 and 10.00am.
 M – Z please arrive between 10.00 and 11.00am.
Please keep an eye on our website in case we have to make any changes to
arrangements.
Those of you who are coming to Logic 6th Form will be asked to come into the
building after collecting your results, so that we can check your courses and confirm
your application. Details of the start of the new term will be given to you at this point.
No one else is allowed to collect your results without already having this approved by
the Examination Officer. If you know you need someone else to collect on your
behalf, please email j.peirce@springwestacademy.org with the details.
We can also email you your results if no one is able to come in, but we will need you
to let us know that you would like us to send them to you and the email address to
use. This also must be agreed in advance with the Examinations officer.
