Why wouldn’t you choose Logic?
Our vision and ethos
Logic’s ethos is a simple one – Looking forward. Looking outwards. Taking action.
“The Logic Attitude will be engrained in everything we do at Logic through both teaching and learning and enrichment opportunities. By the end of Year 11 students will show an awareness of, and be developing, these skills and qualities. By the end of Year 13 students will be career ready with a firm grounding in the Logic Attitude. A practical skill set will need to be developed in order to enable students to fulfil their potential” – Jay Lockwood, Principal
Our innovative approach to education involves:
Being Relevant: a more modern & applied approach to learning, with subjects that will open doors to your career including Computing, Business, Events, and Digital Design.
Being Connected: you’ll meet, be inspired and taught by industry experts, as well gaining first-hand experience by taking part in our Employer Engagement programme which is all about your future.
Being Focused: as a small school, we don’t offer a conveyor-belt approach to education, instead you’ll benefit from personal one-to-one coaching and class sizes much smaller than the national average.
When you leave Logic you have the skills you need for the modern economy and tomorrow’s job market. You will have:
- All the basic skills that employers say students are lacking – like being able to write well and able to apply maths.
- With the character skills of confidence and resilience – so you are able to learn from your mistakes in preparation to succeed.
- Communication skills – so you listen to what’s happening around you, and can make yourself heard, understood and respected.
