A Welcome Return and New Beginnings for Logic Students and staff.

After a difficult few months for all and a busy summer, it has been great to see students return to Logic in the last few weeks. It has been a busy few weeks as our Year 11 and Year 13 students have returned after an extended break and we have welcomed over 200 new students to Logic in Year 10 and Year 12.

The staff and students have been getting straight into lessons and learning and the student response has been fantastic. And despite the obvious difficulties that schools face, it has been a busy few weeks with lots of activities taking place both in lessons and outside of the classroom. These have included:
A Team Building Day for our New Year 10 students as part of their induction week.
Induction activities and assemblies for the 140+ Year 12 students who have joined the Logic 6th form – our biggest ever intake!
UCAS and Apprenticeship workshops for Year 13 students who are considering their next steps and Post 18 Transition.
The launch of new pathways, taster sessions and student interviews as part of our Year 12 Employer Engagement Programme.
Google online training for all students
New lessons, new subjects and new learning for everyone!
Later this term, we look forward to welcoming our students and parents for our Meet your Form Tutor Evening on October 7th. We will then undertake our 1st PBL Week of the year, with planned activities including Crowdfunding; Website Design, Post 16 Transition; the Feltham Futures project; a Digital Awareness workshop; and the IDEA award.
