What is a Studio School?
Studio Schools are a different type of ‘Free School’ with approximately 40 currently around the country. Their real point of difference, compared with other schools, is their unrelenting focus teaching through enterprise projects and real work. Rather than students learning passively, the curriculum is delivered by ‘project-based learning’. This encourages students to think independently – a valuable skill for later life and one that employers and Universities are crying out for.
